Bare Boards
Electrical circuit design is a complex process that involves many variables. HiveR supplies tools and resources to make this complex task achievable, but HiveR cannot guarantee your circuit will work. Bare board designs are tested extensively before being released. It should be assumed that the board works. At times during manufacturing there can be defects. HiveR will happily replace bare boards with defects that effect electrical connections (lost continuity between pads or a lack of pads). We will need a pic of the defect within thirty days of receipt. Returns are not accepted for bare boards for any reason other than the wrong product sent or manufacturing defects.

Kits
If you have a problem with the circuit board itself please refer to the “Bare Boards’ return policy. If there are pieces missing from your kit (rare), then let us know and we’ll make it right. We cannot accept kit returns buyer’s remorse or wrong product choice since every kit is custom assembled at the time of each order. The process of assembling and shipping, and then receiving, verifying, and disassembling a kit is too labor intensive to reasonably allow returns.

Built & Tested
Our Built & Tested products are hand assembled, tested, and quality checked prior to shipping. Each product is back by a thirty day guarantee. Our guarantee is that it will be the product you ordered and that it will work. It will also look good. We cannot guarantee it will look perfect. We use mostly diy-friendly through-hole components that are professionally hand-soldered. With hand soldered circuits it is common for someone who is looking for imperfection to find it. People who are not looking for imperfections are very pleased.

Additional Information:

All problems with missing parts, manufacturing defects, or DOA will be addressed with an exchange or store credit. HiveR will cover the cost of return shipping labels for any returns we authorize. We are only responsible for our products. We cannot be responsible for other perceived damages.
