The Swarmer is an eight stage audio FX expansion board made exclusively for the HiveR BUZZ Pro Audio FX Development System.
When paired with the Queen Bee you get a total of ten possible audio FX stages. In addition to that, Swarmers can be linked together to add more stages if needed. Every additional Swarmer adds eight stages.
Description
The Swarmer is an eight stage audio FX expansion board made exclusively for the HiveR BUZZ Pro Audio FX Development System.
When paired with the Queen Bee you get a total of ten possible audio FX stages. In addition to that, Swarmers can be linked together to add more stages if needed. Every additional Swarmer adds eight stages.
Each effect stage of the Swarmer has these features:
• Input impedance adjustment from 0 to 2M (with test pads for you to measure added input impedance once your design is the way you want it)
• Effect Bypass
• Post EFX Return (bypasses all effects after the current one)
• Test loop on the effect out (used to extract the signal for later use, such as to blend the signal a few stages down. Example, dry signal blending into a wet chorus)
• 5v, 9v, 12v always available from the attached Queen Bee (Swarmer routes power, but does not supply it)
• Switch selectable -5v, -9v, -12v, or 15v-20v passed from the attached Queen Bee (Swarmer routes power, but does not supply it)
*The expansion header can be used as an additional effect stage but does not have the impedance adjustments, bypassing switches, or Audio Test features of the effect stages.
Kit Info:
HiveR kits are professionally assembled by the founder/chief designer/only employee of HiveR. They are built-to-order and checked, not once- twice, before being flown to your door by a swarm of Missouri yellowjackets.
Kits will likely arrive with the parts that look just like the photos. In some cases there may be slight differences in components, but they will always work. Some products come with printed documentation, some don’t. All documentation is available at https://hiverbuzz.com/category/products-documents-extras/.
Please allow one week for shipping. I never plan for it to take that long, but I’d rather pleasantly surprise you with an early delivery than disappoint you by over-promising. In the unlikely even I cannot fulfill your order within one week I will send you an email and give you my best estimate.
